What is depression?

Depression is a common mental health condition that affects how you feel, think, and handle daily life. It goes beyond just feeling sad, it’s a deep and lasting sense of sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness that doesn’t go away easily.

Common signs include:

Racing
Thoughts

Racing Heart / High Blood Pressure

Dizziness or Lightheadedness

Stomach Pain or Nausea

Constant
Headaches

Unexplained
Fatigue

"So many people I speak with felt uncertain before reaching out. They worried their feelings weren't 'serious enough.' My message is always the same: your feelings are valid. A confidential conversation with a doctor is simply a safe space to understand what's going on and learn about your options. You don't have to have all the answers before you ask for help."

"I have had success with them. Requested mental health assessment, was booked for virtual appt within a week or two. Have since been prescribed meds and just had my third follow up, all with same doctor."
