Finding the Right Treatment For You

There is no single "best" medication, only the one that is best for *you*. Effective treatment depends on your unique symptoms, medical history, and goals. A physician consultation is the safest way to develop a comprehensive plan where medication is just one possible tool.

"My job isn't to tell you what to do. It's to provide you with the information you need to make the best choice for your own health. We make this decision together, as a team."

Dr. S. Al-Nuaimi

They Found a Plan They Trusted, You Can Too

- Alex P., Fort McMurray, AB

"I was so nervous about the idea of medication and potential side effects. Dr. Chen took the time to answer all my questions—and I had a lot! He never pressured me. I felt like I was in control of my own treatment for the first time."

A Safe and Supportive Process

01

Comprehensive Assessment

Your physician will listen to your concerns, review your history, and conduct a thorough assessment of your symptoms.

02

Informed
Discussion

You'll discuss options for depression, bipolar disorder, or anxiety, including benefits, risks, and side effects in a clear way.

03

Collaborative
Plan

Together, you and your doctor will decide on a plan. If medication is prescribed, it's sent to your local pharmacy of choice.

Is it really free?

Yes, your appointment is 100% free, covered entirely by your Alberta Health Card. We do ask for payment info at booking to help prevent no-shows but your card will **never** be charged unless you miss your appointment or cancel less than 48 hours beforehand. This transparency allows us to keep care available for everyone who needs it.
